Get data from multiple fields - tables You can use this function to grab data from your database by creating an array and calling the function. You should be able to make each parameter an array (the table, field, etc) but I have only tested the field parameter. Check if a table exists Checks whether a table exists in the specified database. Returns true if the table does exist and false if it doesn't. Aslo returns false if the login information is incorrect and/or the database being called isn't present. If you have variables or constants set up for the your mysql login information, they can easily be integrated into this function. This eliminates the need to several arguements in the function.

SQL script import function Sometimes you might need a function that imports an entire .sql file into the MySQL database. This function will help you do that.

I have two functions:

1. mysql_import_file : simply imports a file as is
2. mysql_install_db : creates a given DB as well as imports a given SQL file for that DB
